Philip Horowitz, Ph.D. - Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Horowitz is a Clinical Psychologist and Administrator with 30 years of administrative experience in the design and delivery of behavioral health services. Dr. Horowitz is a board member of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers and a member of the American Academy of Addiction Treatment Administrators. Prior to joining Sunrise House, Dr. Horowitz was the Director of Inpatient and Emergency Behavioral Health Services at Saint Clare’s Hospital. He is a licensed Psychologist in New York and New Jersey and Diplomat & Fellow, American Board of Medical Psychotherapy. Dr. Horowitz has authored numerous publications in the fields of health administration, psychology and chemical dependency.
Dr. Todd Wilding, MD - Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Wilding is a Licensed Medical Doctor and is certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) as an Addictionologist. He has been a member of the Sunrise House Team since December 1999. His prior experience included, General Practice/Emergency Medicine, New York University Student Health Service; Emergency Medicine, Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY; Asst. Medical director, Affiliated Physicians of St. Vincent, P.C., NY.
Dr. William C. Rainer, MD - Medical Director-Emeritus
Dr. Rainer joined the Sunrise House Medical Staff in 1995 following a 32 year career in private practice. He began practicing medicine in 1956 after earning his medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Dr. Rainer is one of 200 physicians in the state of New Jersey who have earned the specialty certification from The American Society of Addiction Medicine, (ASAM), which is affiliated with the American Medical Association.
Kieran Ayre, LCSW, ACSW, C-CATODSW, LCADC, CCS - Chief Clinical Officer & Chief
Development Officer Mr. Ayre is a Licensed
Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug
Counselor who has been working with chemically dependency and
co-occurring patients since 1989. He is a member of the National Academy
of Certified Social Workers and holds a national level certification as
a Certified Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Social Worker as well as
credentialing as a Certified Clinical Supervisor. In additional to his
work at Sunrise House, Mr. Ayre is an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers
University School of Work, New Brunswick. He is a Doctoral Candidate in
Clinical Social Work at Rutgers University.
Beth Anne Nathans - MS, LCADC,
CCS,CSW, WTS -
Director of Women's Programs.
Ms. Nathans has been a member of the Sunrise House team since October 1983.
Prior to joining Sunrise House she was the Program Director at Sleepy Valley
Center in Warwick, New York from 1979-1983. Ms. Nathans has a Masters
Degree in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Washington State University.
She has her alcohol and drug counselor certification in New York and New
Jersey and his a licensed LCADC IN New Jersey. She is a
certified social worker in New Jersey
Evelyn Rossi-Gabin, LCADC,CSW, CDS, CCS- Asst. Director of Clinical Services and
Director of Family & Community Liaison Services
Ms. Gabin is the Assistant Director of Clinical Services and the Director of Family & Community Liaison Services at Sunrise House. She is board certified in New Jersey as an alcohol and drug counselor she is also certified as a social worker and a chemical dependency specialist. A member of the Sunrise House Team since 1984, Ms. Gabin has held several positions at Sunrise House including Family Program Coordinator and Clinical Coordinator
Estela Rowe - Director of Patient Services
Ms. Rowe has been involved in financial services for over twenty years. Prior associations include Greenway Center in Henryville, PA and Colonial Hospital in Newport News, VA. She has been a Sunrise House team member since 2001.She lives in Stroudsburg PA with her family.
Patricia Aldredge, RHIT - Chief Patient Systems Officer
Ms. Aldredge has been a member of the Sunrise House team since March 1986 and is the Chief Patient Systems Officer at Sunrise House Foundation . She is a graduate of the Mandl School of Medical Technology and a Registered Health Information Technician in the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Her twenty- seven years as a health information professional also earned board certification in quality assurance and utilization review by the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians (ABQAURP).
