Victoria joined the Sunrise House team in September 2021 as Director of Compliance and Quality Assurance. This role requires her involvement in every department, working to provide comprehensive and exceptional care. She oversees preparedness for state and CARF accreditations, and assists with employee trainings, auditing patient records, patient advocacy, program satisfaction, risk mitigation, and more.
Much of Victoria’s experience in the field of mental health and addiction began working with directly patients as a clinician. Her expertise ranges across all levels of care, including residential, partial care, outpatient, and intensive in-home environments. She also has extensive experience working among diverse groups of patients with unique biological and psychological needs, while coordinating complex treatment interventions to assist in overcoming acute and chronic difficulties.
Her transition from direct care to administration occurred in 2018, when she was recruited to assist in improving patient care and concerns, and facility quality standards. Victoria was quickly recognized for her ability to serve as a mechanism for change.
Victoria is a licensed professional counselor, and has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in clinical and counseling psychology from William Paterson University.
