Sunrise House Celebrates Sober St. Patrick’s Day

The holidays can be difficult to navigate while you’re working on your sobriety, but the true spirit of St. Patrick’s Day and many other holidays have nothing to do with wild parties and whiskey. The rich tradition is rooted in strength, hard work, and perseverance in the face of adversity. A community coming together to celebrate where they are today and the possibilities that lay ahead. Those struggling with addiction know this journey very well.

St. Patrick’s Day can be a trigger for those battling a substance use disorder, but the holidays won’t just disappear. Sunrise House Treatment Center shows us why holidays don’t have to be ignored because you are sober; it’s even more of a reason to celebrate. On March 17, 2022, the Sunrise House community celebrated St. Patrick’s day by embracing  Irish culture and food, and by celebrating friendship and the joy that recovery can bring. Everyone was feeling very lucky!

At Sunrise House, every day in recovery is a day to celebrate. If you’re struggling with addiction and feeling alone, we’re here to help. Learn more about our treatment programs and how you can find your joy in our New Jersey treatment facility.
