About Sunrise House
Sunrise House is located amid twenty-two acres in the serene mountains of Sussex County, New Jersey. Part of the American Addiction Centers (AAC) family of addiction treatment facilities throughout the United States, Sunrise House provides research-based programs and services for adults struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
Sunrise House Clinical Team
When clients come to our facility to work on their recovery, they work with a team of caring, compassionate clinical staff at Sunrise House with years of experience in the addiction and mental health industry. We select only appropriately licensed and qualified physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, therapists, nurses, and support staff to work with our clients.
Each AAC treatment facility offers research-based addiction programs developed by our experienced clinical team. Our Executive Management Team is based at the corporate office in Brentwood, Tennessee (outside of Nashville), and is represented by professionals with decades of experience in substance abuse treatment, behavioral healthcare, and healthcare operations.

Our direction is to create in New Jersey, a respected state-of-the-art system that rivals the best hospitals in the area, and to treat, educate, and refer patients and families with very complicated problems that include addiction. We are one of the few treatment programs in the state that provide a wide range of addiction, psychiatric, and medical treatment to patients needing our help.

Beth Nathans – Clinical Director
As Clinical Director, Leslie oversees the clinical programming for both the Sunrise House residential and outpatient programs. Her focus it to ensure that we provide research-based addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders care for you or your loved one according to your individual addiction severity and specific needs.
Corinne Conlin – Director of Nursing
When you or your loved one arrive at Sunrise House, there may be a need for medical detox or other reasons for monitoring. Our Director of Nursing ensures that we hire the most experienced, appropriately-licensed, and qualified nursing staff to care for our clients. Individuals in substance abuse rehabilitation often have special needs that need to be met by compassionate, addiction professionals.
Estela Rowe – Transportation
Since clients often travel from other cities and states to attend treatment at the Sunrise House, transportation from nearby airports or other locations may be necessary. Estela makes sure that you or your loved one is met by a staff member of the Sunrise team and safely transported to our facility for admission. Sunni also helps coordinate plane and bus tickets for individuals being admitted to Sunrise.
