Sunrise House Recognized as Cigna Center of Excellence
Sunrise House Treatment Center in Lafayette Township, NJ, is pleased to announce its recognition as a Cigna Center of Excellence. This designation is awarded to treatment centers that meet rigorous quality standards, clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction.
Sunrise House joins an exclusive roster of less than 100 addiction treatment facilities nationwide with the Cigna Center of Excellence endorsement. It is one of only three in the entire state of New Jersey to receive this honor. As part of the American Addiction Centers’ network of treatment facilities, Sunrise House offers a comprehensive array of substance use disorder treatment services, including medical detox and inpatient rehab.
On the 22-acre campus nestled in the Sussex County countryside, Sunrise House Treatment Center’s 108-bed facility has been providing high-quality addiction-focused healthcare for over 40 years. The organization’s team of experienced professionals is dedicated to helping patients overcome addiction and achieve long-term recovery using evidence-based efficacious therapeutic interventions.
Patients entering our medical detox program receive compassionate care from qualified licensed medical professionals to ease the transition from active use to readiness for treatment. Each person that comes to Sunrise House receives individualized care tailored to their unique needs and circumstances. Our program also offers FDA-approved medications that, depending on the person’s needs, can help them safely and comfortably detox from drugs and alcohol. Once the foundation for recovery has been laid, we work with our patients to move them forward in their recovery in our inpatient treatment program.
Our robust inpatient program offers a holistic suite of treatment options that facilitate whole-person healing as patients work toward a rewarding life in recovery. Our team of mental health and medical professionals develops treatment plans that use a combination of evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for addiction.
In CBT, patients work with their therapist to unroot harmful thoughts and behaviors that may have contributed to their addiction. In therapy, individuals will learn new and healthier coping skills and recognize triggers and how to deal with them.
Sunrise House also offers group therapy programming that includes:
- Anger management courses.
- Co-occurring disorder groups.
- Specialized programs for military Veterans and first responders.
- 12-Step programs.
In addition to more formal addiction treatment, Sunrise House offers mindfulness and reflection groups, music therapy, an indoor gym, and outdoor exercise options.
As part of the American Addiction Centers network of treatment facilities, patients who wish to continue with treatment after completing inpatient rehab can take advantage of step-down options, such as intensive outpatient programming, outpatient treatment, or sober living, offered at Sunrise House’s sister facilities.
Upon completing their treatment, as part of their aftercare plan, patients can stay connected with the Sunrise House recovery community through the AAC Alumni App.
If you or someone you love is struggling with addiction to drugs or alcohol, Sunrise House, a Cigna Center of Excellence, is committed to providing the highest quality care to our patients to help them achieve meaningful and long-lasting recovery.
